Where it all began

The Sprout House was founded by Connie, a passionate educator with a heart for children and families. With a bachelor’s degree in Child Life Psychology and certification to teach both general and special education from birth through 6th grade, Connie spent three years in a special education classroom—where she discovered the true magic of building trust, celebrating small victories, and watching each child bloom in their own way.​

However, as much as Connie loved her students and the relationships she built, she began to feel frustrated with the limitations of the traditional school system. While she poured her heart into her classroom, the way the administration treated staff and ran the school made it difficult to fully support her students in the way they deserved. The system was failing both the teachers and the students, and Connie knew there had to be a better way. This realization became the catalyst for something new—something that would allow her to make a real difference for the children and families she cared about.

The vision grows

That dream took root and blossomed into The Sprout House—a warm, inclusive space designed to nurture growth, learning, and joy for every child. Here, children can thrive at their own pace, where creativity and kindness are just as important as academics, and where families are treated as true partners in the learning process.
